Who is responsible for your information

Humanity Laws Holding LLC, doing business as Humanity Laws, provides the Humanity Laws website, memberships, digital experiences, books, AI companion features, and related services. In this policy, “Humanity Laws,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that company. This policy applies to personal information handled through our services.

Information we collect

Only what supports the service

The information we collect depends on what you choose to use. We do not require every category from every person.

Sensitive information

Your private story is not advertising material

Humanity Laws may offer reflective, memory, relationship, faith, or wellness experiences. Information you choose to enter in those spaces may be sensitive. We use it only to provide, secure, improve, or support the experience you requested, and for other purposes you expressly authorize. We do not use sensitive information to build advertising profiles.

How information is used

Purpose before collection

We use personal information to operate Humanity Laws and honor the choices you make.

Service providers

Limited disclosure for a defined job

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, complete a transaction, follow your direction, protect the service, or comply with law.

No sale. No behavioral advertising.

Dignity is not a data marketplace

Humanity Laws does not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and do not use private conversations, reflections, notes, memories, or wellness information for targeted advertising. If these practices ever change, we will update this policy and provide any legally required notice and choice before the change applies.

Cookies and similar technologies

Essential first

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for sign-in, security, preferences, checkout continuity, service reliability, and limited analytics. We do not use these technologies to create a behavioral advertising profile. Browser settings may limit some technologies, but disabling essential storage can prevent parts of the service from working.

Retention and deletion

Keep what is needed—then remove or de-identify it

We retain information for the shortest period reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including providing an active account, honoring user-directed memory, completing transactions, maintaining security, resolving disputes, meeting tax or recordkeeping duties, and enforcing agreements. Retention varies by data type and legal requirement. When information is no longer needed, we delete it, de-identify it, or securely isolate it unless law requires continued retention.

Your choices and rights

You remain in charge

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know or access personal information, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, opt out of certain disclosures, or appeal a denied request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. We may need to verify identity and authority before completing a request.

California notice at collection

Categories, purposes, and choice

California residents may review the categories described above: identifiers and contact data; commercial and transaction data; internet or electronic activity; account and user-generated content; approximate location inferred from IP; and sensitive information a person chooses to provide. We use these categories for the operational, support, security, transaction, personalization, legal, and limited analytics purposes stated in this policy. We do not sell or share these categories for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about a person.

International use

A global service operated from the United States

If you use Humanity Laws outside the United States, information may be processed in the United States or another country where a service provider operates. Privacy laws may differ. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers and honor mandatory local rights. Nothing in this policy removes rights that cannot legally be waived.

Age boundary

Accounts and purchases are for adults

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live if higher, to create an account or make a purchase. Humanity Laws is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child through an account. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

Security

Reasonable safeguards, truthful limits

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls and provider security measures. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please use a unique password, protect your devices, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Updates and contact

A living policy with a clear door back

We may update this policy as Humanity Laws, its providers, or applicable requirements change. We will post the updated effective date and provide additional notice when required. Questions, requests, or concerns may be sent to hello@humanitylaws.com. Privacy requests are reviewed under applicable law and our verification procedures.
